Artist Bio

Michael Goulet a native Montanan makes his home in central Montana. Michael grew up in Great Falls with views of several mountain ranges always in his sights.

His many travels, hunting, fishing, and hiking in all of these mountain ranges, viewing wildlife and enjoying all of mother nature are the inspirition for his works.

Michael participated in many art classes both in school and after highschool. He is a self taught carver moving from pencil drawing and oil paints into this medium.

Michael was introduced to shed collecting several years ago by close childhood friends, as he says "when the woods were alot less crowded". He and his two sons spent many days afield collecting sheds.

He started carving in the sheds he collected for family and friends. Michaels carvings are praised and cherished by family, friends and aqaintencences. I am sure you and yours will also feel this way once you look at the realism captured in his carvings.
